JOB DESCRIPTIONS
INSTALLER, TECHNICIAN CREW LEADER
Primarily responsible for removing, installing and starting up HVAC systems, including ductwork installation and fabrication as necessary. Work closely with installation department and any others necessary to provide timely and accurate service to customers in accordance with company standards and procedures. Also go to service jobs to troubleshoot customers unit issues.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
-Must partner with dispatchers & installers to provide customers with excellent service as outlined in department policies & procedures.
-Serve customers by analyzing work orders, following daily travel schedule, listening to customer concerns, performing designated installation work, and proactively solving problems
-Cooperate with other departments to continually improve the process and flow of information -Keep personal tools and equipment operable and up to date
-Document work performed in accordance with company procedure
-Updates knowledge of HVAC codes and standards by participating in educational opportunities or individual training with our company, and reading professional publications
-Must be able to maintain professional conduct in all work situations, have a “clean cut” appearance, and adapt well to all types of working conditions
-Accomplishes operation & organization mission by completing related tasks, as needed
MINIMUM JOB REQUIREMENTS:
-5+ years residential HVAC Installation experience
-Must have a valid driver license and good driving record
-Able to meet Physical Demands and tolerate Work Environment
-Must have a good understanding of a typical construction site.
-Must be knowledgeable in Electricity
– Must be good with tools and know how to properly use them (Electrical, Plumbing, Carpentry).
-1+ years’ sheet metal fabrication experience
-A good knowledge of sheet metal tools and fabrication
-EPA Type II or Universal Certification NATE Certification
-Need to understand the relationships between temperature and pressures on refrigerants
-must have a good knowledge of recovery equipment and vacuum pumps
-when installing a system or working on a partial install it is imperative to follow any and all guidelines to ensure the purity and cleanliness of the refrigeration system.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
Residential HVAC Installation: 5 years
Required licenses or certifications: HVAC TECH
HVAC HELPER:
-A knowledge/experience of basic carpentry skills and tools.
-A knowledge/experience of basic plumbing skills and tools.
-A knowledge/experience of basic electrical skills and tools.
-Have a basic set of tools for the above jobs.
-Have an ability to learn quickly and maintain knowledge. Be able to apply what you learn.
-Be willing to search out learning opportunities and improve at needed skills
